Love this book! So, I saw Audrey on Rachel Ray and I had ordered the book here on Amazon before the show had ended...I mean, healthy Chicken Cordon Bleu and Overloaded Baked Potatoes...and I could lose weight?? I was sold! I read it front to back, flagged all the recipes I wanted to try (and there were lots), made a grocery list and went shopping...all before starting the 1st detox week meal plan.I then made me a meal calendar to post on the fridge at home to help keep me on track with what I needed to prepare for the day as well as the next day if I could prep ahead of time. I will say...sticking to such a plan does take a lot of prep work and time, but seeing results makes it worthwhile. I am happy to say that I completed my first full detox week 2 days ago and had lost 8 pounds. I plan to continue for the month long detox plan and hopefully stay committed for the entire 3 month plan. I have tried other programs to teach you to cut out sugars and limit fats from your foods however they were a bit difficult to follow long term as they allowed no breads, pastas, potatoes, etc and unfortunately, those foods are my weaknesses. How wonderful that these things are incorporated into some of the meals...just small amounts and healthy versions!!! I definitely think that will help me stick with many of these recipes and substitutions. I had no idea Greek yogurt really worked well in place of sour cream and you cannot even taste spinach in the smoothies, so even though they look green and yucky...they taste fantastic!!! I have already recommended this book to many people I know!

I recently read an article in Health magazines about bloggers who have lost weight. Audrey Johns story intrigued me and I started reading her blog. I bought her first book Loose Weight By Eating. I followed the recipes and thought they were great. Then I saw she had a new book coming out Loose Weight By Eating Detox. I ordered it as soon as it came out. I’ve followed the detox week to a T and have lost 7 lbs in a week. I highly recommend this book you will be happy with the results.

I love this book because you EAT!! It’s not a starvation plan. I was not a smoothie fan after years of protein shakes. However, I love making my own smoothies where I control what goes in them. After just one day on the monthly detox, I feel so much better. Way less bloated and lots of energy!!! I can’t believe I was eating so much junk before. Her recipes are easy, taste great and the whole family can eat them. No “weird” ingredients. I feel like this is something I can stick with. That’s important because the number one reason I usually give up is because I feel like I’m on a “diet”. Thank you Audrey!!! Keep writing books!!

I love this book! I have been following the book for 4 days and I already lost 5 pounds! The recipes are easy to follow and taste great!

I did not buy this for the "Detox" plans but for the recipes. I am a vegetarian and it is the best recipe book I have bought to date for vegetarian recipes, smoothies and dressings, etc. Fabulous. I am thrilled and my meat-eater husband loves them too!

This is the second detox Week that I have purchased - this one for a friend. He had a week of my meals from this book & is a new convert to the Lose Weight by Eating lifestyle. After one week on this diet, he has lost 10 pounds & I have lost 5. Everything that we have made this past week has been a winner. Thank you Audrey for making dieting so common sense & easy to do as well as delicious.

The recipes in this book are creative, tasty, and filling. There are refreshed old comfort favorites as well as some new tasty recipes to try. They are not hard to make. My favorite so far has been the Fruity Chicken Salad. I ate that three days in a row. My husband enjoyed the Chicken Parmesan. I did not loose weight quiet as quickly on this diet as was claimed, but I blame menopause. My diet needed a reset, a wake-up call, and retraining. This book is perfect for that. It provides several flexible plans of various duration to help you meet your goals.

I am so excited to dive in to all these new recipes! I love that you can start small with the one week plan and keep going as long as you want. The plan is very flexible. Just a few sensible guidelines and lots of options to make sure it works for you. My family loves the recipes from Audrey's first book. I can't wait to introduce them to some new favorites.
